Okay you asked for it .....Last summer Sandy ,meemaw and I traveled down to Bigbone state park.It was amazing that these huge mamoths once roamed this part of Kentucky.I was taken by the sight of the size of these animals ,so I asked the curator? how old these bones were?With out batting an eye he said 50 million 4 and a half years old.Iwas amazed,so I asked him how they could estimate the age so close? He replied , well sonny they was 50 million old when I started to work her, and I've been here for 4 and a half years!!!!!,,,,,,.......All kidding aside its worth the trip if you have never been there............Whose next?
