Matt turns 31!

As my mom mentioned in an earlier blog, Matt turned 31 this past Saturday! We celebrated by attending the Rising Sun Arts Festival in Indiana. Despite weather reports, it turned out to be a beautiful day. There were 3 wineries represented (right up Matt's alley) and I was introduced to a delicious drink called a wine-a-rita (yum)!
Lana, our resident pastry chef, made Matt a twinkie cake - just like his mom used to bake him when he was a kid. For those of you who don't know...Matt doesn't like chocolate, (which is very tragic for me), but give him anything vanilla and he's in heaven! Needless to say, the leftovers didn't make it past Monday!
One of Matt's presents was a ticket to attend the Bengals game with my dad. Here are "my boys" rocking the orange and black before heading off to what would later be known as a wind-infused tragedy (I'm referring to the game, not the weather...hahaha)!

Sorry your Bengal birthday turned out to be such a "whoopie cushion"! But at least the rest of it sounds like it was fun!

I think Lon should make a twinkie cake for our Christmas get together. It sure looks yummy!

The Bengals are pretty bad unfortunately, but it looks like the rest of the celebration was fun!!!
