J.D.and Gloria

Some time not long ago when Jerry was playing with his band ,they were invited to play at a classy supper club in Rio. Being on a tight budget the band members were told to leave their wives home .The day arrived, and they were off to Rio onTWA and arrived a few hours later.....After a couple of days enjoying the weather and sight seeing J.D. started to feel a little guilty about what a woderful time he was having while Gloria was sitting home ,alone and living her mundane life that we all seem to be living in winter.....Having to play another week on his gig J.D. decided to send Gloria one of those big ,colorful birds that were so common in that area . after acouple of days had passed he called home and asked Gloria how she liked the bird.Fine she replied it was delicious......What ,..he said I paid a thousand dollars for that bird ....and he was fluent in three languages.........Gloria replied,why the heck didn't he say somthing.
