So my dad turned the big 5-6 today...ssshhhhh, don't tell him I told you. ( Thanks for starting the post of birthday wishes for my dad, Kristi! I know he appreciates it!) The Powers family celebrated with a delicious lunch at a restaurant called Great Scott! located in Amelia. Here's Maddox with Grampy while we were waiting for our food to come...
After lunch we headed back to my parents' house for presents and cake. Dad scored with a couple UC Bearcat T-shirts, tickets to a Bearcat football game, a framed picture of him and Maddox, the Indiana Jones Complete Adventure Collection on DVD, paint brushes, and a gift card to Michaels. We spent the rest of the afternoon watching Indian Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull while eating Oreo cake and Redlegs ice cream. Yum! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DAD! WE LOVE YOU!
