
Todd and I finished up Isaiah's pirate inspired bedroom this morning by painting a Treasure Map on his wall to go with the other pirate-y decor we created a few weeks ago. This picture shows part of the Treasure Map along with the pirate ship sails and Jolly Roger that turned Captain Zae's bed into the Black Pearl.
Not shown in this picture are some very cool skull and crossbone curtains Grandma Sandy made for this window. Arrrrhhhh!
Although this picture is not that great, you can get an idea what Zae's pirate playhouse (that used to be his closet) is like. One thing that Zae's has always loved to do is to spend time in small, cozy places, so now he can do that any time he wants. His playhouse is adorned with fishing net and an array of sea creatures in keeping with the sea-faring theme.
Zae is happy as a clam with his new room! When asked what he thought about his new Treasure Map and the rest of his Pirate-themed bedroom he said, "X marks the spot!" Who can argue with that?

Well Shiver me timbers,looks like Captain Zae,has finally launched his ship into open waters .Keep 'er in trim from bow to stern ,turn 'er into the wind and lets prowl the deep blue sea and find the treasure .
