One of my most favorite presents...

...was a doll in a little bitty beauty parlor chair. I think it was for sale at the grocery store where mom shopped. I remember seeing it every grocery shopping day and longing to have it for my very own. I can't remember the name of the store, maybe it was Liberal or Albers, but I sure do remember that doll. It had so many neat accessories for playing hairdresser. I'm sure glad Santa shopped at the same store as mom!

I also remember the year Sandy and I each got $50 CASH that we could spend however we wanted. We went to Shillito's in Tri-County and bought a bunch of a-line skirts. It was fantastic!
