Back home again in Indiana

Meemaw and I are visiting Jeff and Belinda this weekend. We were house bound shortly after we arrived here. The fog rolled in and obliterated(spelling?)everything over 50 feet away.You couldent see across the cove that he lives on.We hit rain on our way up and it felt like we were having to swim to Indy it came down so hard. Even the semi's slowed down to 35 mph.,But with superior driving skill's(duh) and a lot of determination we rolled into Jeff's driveway none the worse for wear. After a light lunch we settled in for just an afternoon of catching up on things. Then.....Momma Mia........Belinda whipped up a pot of her homemade speghetti /lasagna sauce and we dove into the sauce and speghetti with gusto.Fore the first time in weeks Meemaw cleaned up her plate with a smile on her face. I have been worried because she has been eating very little recently. Thanks Belinda.....Can you figure out how a little gal from Chile can put these supposed Italian culinary experts to shame? I can't ,but as they say "the proof of the pudding ,is in the eating". Maybe she can make some lasagna at a future get to gether? We're planning on a trip to Longhorn Steak house this afternoon late.Ken and Ben will join us. By the way Ken says to remind everbody he works for HHGreggs and can get you a good price on most items.Meemaw seems to be enjoying herself so the trip is well worthwhile.
